For me, drawing is like breathing. From the time I could hold a pencil, I’ve drawn – with careful attention to detail and color. With my Guatemalan heritage, I feel intricate design and vibrant color is part of my DNA. I love realistically capturing people, places and things – not just their outward appearance, but their essence. My goal is to draw in a way that illuminates the subject’s unique qualities and brings happiness to the viewer. Bottom line: I’d love to draw something that resonates with you: whether it’s a child’s crinkly-nosed grin, a clear blue Georgia sky or a Minnesota snow that’s white as a bald eagle’s feathers.
